The location of this home is outstanding! The beach access is unmatched. We were able to run down to the beach so easily. All of the beach equipment was in the garage and so nice. The home itself is beautiful and very clean. Unfortunately, the AC wasn't working the last four days of our stay, which was a bummer. We chose this house because it did have AC. It got a little uncomfortable in the main area of the home. All the upgrades they've made to the home are awesome but the kitchen really does need some upgrades, hopefully that area is next. Looks like they're remodeling a little at a time. The attention to detail of all the spaces that have been remodeled are amazing!

Outstanding property! All that they claim and more. The beach was not even a two minute walk. Plus the beach was beautiful and maybe 10 people on it! Back to the house, we all had plenty of space and privacy. Beautifully remodeled. They even left us a great welcome basket that had so much stuff we couldn’t finish. Only about a mile to everything restaurant and store. Loved Cinnamon’s for breakfast. Host was very attentive and reachable. Seriously nothing bad to say!!

Wonderful house in a great location. Kailua is a great little town in a nice area. The house is just a short walk to Kailua beach which is very pretty. The house was so comfortable and the pool was as beautiful and tropical as any resort you would go to. Definitely recommend this home!

Wow, this is a luxury renovation! Not sure what was more calming...a walk through a mangrove patch to one of the world's best beaches, hanging out by the pool at the house or just sneaking back into the bedroom to read.

This would be a great place to bring my family. It was still wonderful for my husband and myself. Everything was newly refurbished and they had a beautiful welcome basket. The spa was nice, we couldn’t use the pool it didn’t have heat. The beach was beautiful and a three minute walk. We really loved the small town and farmers markets. We plan to return. If you’re looking for a beautiful house with a great pool and quick access to an amazing beach then look no further. We had a family reunion and celebrated a 55th wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have been happier.

A wonderful place for a family reunion - 6 adults and 3 kids. The house was a lot just off Kailua beach. The property had a beautifully landscaped pool and spa pool which the kids absolutely loved. The house was lovely and perfect for all of us to have family time and alone time if needed. It had a well stocked kitchen and nicely furnished - very casual and comfortable.

This house was spacious and immaculate. There are large gatherings places and lots of private spots too. The pool and hot tub area are connected by a waterfall and rival any resort in beauty and comfort. Kailua Beach is truly an easy walk, maybe 50 yards, and is one of the most amazing beaches you will ever step foot on. There is a huge refrigerator and freezer for feeding a large group. The kitchen needs a larger stock pot, working can opener and sharper knives to make the chef happy. Check in and check out were simple. I would highly recommend this beautiful Kailua vacation home.

I have to say from the moment the property managers greeting us to the time we checked out this was by far the best VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. There is so much attention to detail put in to this home. The beach is walking distance and amazing. The pool was so nice to have. We utilized it from the moment we arrived. Our party included 12. There was room for everyone to spread out and have privacy as well. There were so many outdoor spaces to hang out as well. 3 washers/dryers made laundry so easy. Beach/ pool towels provided as well as beach gear. Everything is conveniently located to the property. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Beautiful Holiday with family and friends

This property was amazing for our large family group. It had plenty of space for everybody and the grounds and pool were gorgeous.

Palione Papalani - Kailua was beautiful! The house, the pool and overall area were beautiful. the only thing that put a damper on our stay was the neighbors. The one in the back of the house flicks their lights at 7:00pm to be quiet and also called the rental company on us, for being out there passed 9:00pm other than that which we tolerated, the house is awesome. Beautifully decorated, and well stocked with everything you will need.

This house was the perfect oasis for three generations with a perfect layout to be both together and separate. Steps to the beach and close to Kailua to be both relaxing and convenient. The manager was terrific and responsive to all our needs. We really enjoyed the pool and amenities and the personal chef that we engaged one evening for dinner. This home is beautiful and obviously well loved and cared for. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends.

This house and the grounds are beautiful! Everything was well kept, clean and organized! Lisa answered all our questions with a smile and was very helpful! If we go back to this area we would all (party of 10) want to stay here again hands down - we would not even look anywhere else! Thank you for making this one of the highlights of our trip!

We had a fantastic vacation! The house was a big part of that. The kitchen was large enough to cook and eat together! It was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The refrigerator and freezer were large enough to hold a weeks worth of food and drinks.
With multiple areas to gather and to have some quiet time both inside and out. We loved the multiple decks and chairs The hot tub and pool were big hits with all from teen to adult, short walk to the beach! And lots of beach chairs, pads and toys in the laundry room.
The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived and Mitch was waiting to give us a tour and show us how to open, lock, and work the various things on site.
We would recommend this home to all! Very quiet and private!

The property looked just like the pictures! The house was only a few minute walk from a wonderful kid friendly beach. The house was clean. Not every bedroom had air conditioning but the air conditioning in the main rooms cooled those bedrooms just fine. Parking was difficult but we were shown how to fit our 3 cars. The home is in a nice neighborhood and the neighbors help enforce the rules. The managers customer service was outstanding, from the initial tour of the facility to emails and calls for support. Our flights leaving wasn’t until later in the day, without even asking they reached out and told us that we could check out later, their care and concern for our “fun” was perfect. We would recommend this rental and the property managers to anyone looking to stay in Hawaii.

The house and grounds are fantastic. The house, the pool and fixtures are all clean and up to date. The kitchen has every appliance you could need. Lots of towels and beach chairs and toys for kids. Its on an amazing beach to boot. Best of all the is the attention from Steven and Mitch and the entire staff of Private Homes Hawaii.

The house is situated a minute-long walk down a small path to Kailua beach which is clean, quiet and beautiful. You can walk a mile or so in each direction and there's more activity, if that's what you like. In my opinion this is a much better beach than Waikiki/Honolulu.

The house and amenities are amazing. It's a small private oasis in a small neighborhood of beach houses. The landscapaing is outstanding, and the pool and hot tub are a great way to relaz after hiking, or even a day on the beach. It has sun and shade to cater to your needs.

If you were going to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with every implement you could need - just bring your main groceries - there's side by side fridge and freezer. The house has tons of sitting and lounging space in many rooms, so you can all be together or find peach and quiet alone if you like. For people coming from afar, there are beach chairs, mats, beach towels, coolers, and unbrellas all stored and ready for you. The bathrooms are all stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, high end amenities. Bath towels are also ready, and two sets of washers and dryers. There's a BBQ close to the pool area also for outside cooking.

The only items we needed to bring were our clothes, food, and sunscreen.

Overall - everything was amazing and comfortable, I can't say enough great things about the location, property, and management. I would stay here again without question!

The vacation couldn’t have been better. Steven and Mitchell were awesome at helping make sure things were all good and the place was incredible. Kids swam in the pool many times a day and in between, would run to the beach...1/2 a block away. It was awesome! We loved it and hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful family trip! The house was equipped with everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The pictures do not do it justice! The beach was just steps away from the house, we could hear the waves from the porch. The beds were very comfortable in the pool was amazing!
