Five bedrooms plus a bonus room/office can accommodate up to 11 guests. This private resort-style home is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and privacy walls that ensure a discreet, secure lifestyle.
As you walk in, a grand 2-story foyer leads the way to bright, airy casual and formal living areas to your left, and spacious bedroom quarters to your right, all in light, neutral tones, decorated with minimalist artwork, and accessible on a single floor. The living spaces are equipped with auto pocketing doors and screens that can disappear, providing the ultimate indoor-outdoor living experience. The formal dining area, with a handcrafted Balinese wooden dining table, is a perfect complement to the grand living room, which opens up to a covered lanai equipped with a built-in gas barbecue. A chef-grade custom kitchen features the finest finishes and appliances such as Sub-zero and Wolf, and a spacious island with counter seating for 4. Adjacent to the kitchen is an intimate breakfast or casual dining nook for 4, and a small entertainment room, with a stereo system that connects with your favorite device to stream music throughout the residence. The kitchen and guest room-wing opens up to a meticulously landscaped tropical garden, an outdoor shower, a gem-tiled, heated saltwater pool with cascading fountains, and a hot tub where you can unwind under the spectacular stars.
This home-away-from-home offers simple-to-use, intuitive technology including automated window shades, A/C controls via Nest, pool & spa heating, LED lighting control, and security system. Other amenities include a windowed laundry room, ample storage closet and a Sub-Zero wine fridge in the 2-car enclosed garage. Additionally, optimized for remote working in the post COVID-19 era, the house provides up to 1GB Internet for high-performance videoconferencing, surfing, and streaming in 4k and 8k.

Always a great experience. We love the location and set up of the house.

Great Family Vacation Home In A Prestigious Oahu Neighborhood
Hale Ekolu Mea Nui in Kahala was great. The location is perfect for access to Kahala Beach—just one street over so you also avoid the road noise of Kahala Avenue. This was by far the “best provisioned” rental we’ve ever had as well. The weekly pool and landscaping services were very efficient which was necessary while we were there as it was very windy. Also, the size and layout of the house was perfect visiting family while we were there, including a separate office. Finally, Gena, the property manager, was very responsive for any needs that we had. We would definitely rent this property again for another month in paradise for those that are partial to Oahu.

The house is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and perfectly stocked.
Everything needed in the kitchen, for the beach etc is there.
We love the outdoor kitchen, the interior, and the perfect location.
Not to forget the backyard and pool where we spend much of our time.
We can’t wait to go back.
And dealing with private Homes Hawaii could not be better.
It is a 30 day dream.

A Perfect Month
The house was beautiful and immaculate. The neighborhood was just as we expected-quiet and lovely. The kitchen was perfectly equipped.
We did a lot of cooking and eating meals at the house due to the
Winding down of Covid. We so enjoyed the pool.
We cannot say enough about the wonderful experience and support of
Private Homes Hawaii starting with the initial paperwork regarding the rental. They were totally responsive and businesslike.
Lisa, our property manager was boyond helpful and so enjoyable.

Amazing 6-week Stay In This Beautiful Home And Neighborhood
Staying in this beautiful home felt like staying in a the largest pool villa of a luxury resort. The interior design and decor were beautiful and stylish to every detail. And the service from the property manager was world class. I was not surprised that they had 5-star hotel experience because that's how our stay felt. We had originally booked a one month stay but extended it another 10 days because we were so happy and comfortable here.
We have made many trips to Hawaii over the years but this was by far the most memorable. A big part of it was the home's location in a great residential neighborhood that feels like a "real" neighborhood and not just a collection of vacation homes. The neighbors are friendly and seem to know each other. Kids practice volleyball and soccer in the park nearby. And all the things we needed for day-to-day life, from Whole Foods to the drugstore and basic shopping were just a quick and easy 5-minute drive down the road to Kahala Mall. Yes, Waikiki and all its restaurants and activities are just around Diamond Head but the home feels a world away if you want peace.
For those days we wanted a "resort feel" we just headed to the Kahala Hotel, a few-minutes-drive down a quiet road, where we had lunch at the oceanfront restaurant and spent time with the kids visiting the dolphin lagoon and playing on the beach.
On this trip, for the first time, it felt like we were living in Hawaii rather than just visiting as a tourist. Yet we had all the tourist activities within arm's reach. We are already looking at the calendar to see when we can come back. Excellent stay!
